The 2015 BMLA conference host an array of high quality speakers from around the globe. Pardis received The Photodiagnostics and Photodynamic Therapy Award sponsored by Elsevier for her outstanding talk on optical monitoring of brain tissue oxygenation and metabolism.

Pardis' PhD in UCL Medical Physics and Bioengineering funded by the EPSRC CDT in Photonic Systems Development (the predecessor of the IPES CDT) is supervised by Dr Illias Tachtsidis.
